The Opportunity As a Rust Developer, you’ll play an important role in building the technology behind Wavestore’s next generation of products. You’ll work in a small, collaborative development team where your contributions are visible and your perspective matters. You’ll design and develop robust, scalable, cloud-based services, participate in code reviews, and work closely with the broader development team to deliver high-quality software. Because we’re a growing team, you’ll also have the opportunity to work beyond a single area of the codebase, explore new technologies, broaden your technical skills, and have a meaningful influence on the evolution of our product. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Rust Developer, with 3-5 years of software development experience, including production experience with Rust, who enjoys solving complex problems, building reliable software, and working collaboratively. You should be comfortable contributing to your ideas and taking ownership of your work. What You’ll Do Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions in RustCollaborate with a small team to integrate systems and build scalable solutionsParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackDevelop and execute tests to ensure software reliability and performanceContribute to product roadmap decisions and suggest improvements to workflows or codebases Key Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of software development experience, including production experience with Rust and its ecosystem.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Strong knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and pull requestsUnderstanding of testing frameworks and methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with video streaming (GStreamer & WebRTC)Experience with cloud APIs and infrastructure toolsFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
