Full Stack Software Engineer Location: Kraków, Poland Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days in office / 3 days remote Experience: 5+ years Languages: Polish – C1/C2 and English – business fluent Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join an engineering team focused on building automation services, workflows and integrations for enterprise technology platforms. You will work on designing and developing solutions that automate controls at scale, with a strong focus on APIs, data schemas, process flows and platform engineering. Key Responsibilities Analyse business and technology controls and identify opportunities for automation.Design and develop automation services, workflows and integrations.Develop robust APIs, data schemas and process flows.Conceptualise, design and implement scalable automation solutions.Contribute to the engineering and operational excellence of the Platform Control Plane.Drive continuous improvement, automation, process optimisation and reuse.Collaborate with engineering and functional teams to define and prioritise improvements.Work with global teams across different locations and time zones.Provide technical leadership and support the development of engineering teams.Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of software engineering experience.Strong Full Stack / Software Engineering background.Experience developing APIs, integrations and workflows.Good understanding of databases and data schemas.Experience working with multiple programming languages / polyglot development.Understanding of internal developer platforms, hosting platforms and cloud technologies.Basic understanding of Linux and web technologies.Experience with iterative/agile technology delivery.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with global, geographically distributed teams.Strong English communication skills.C1/C2 Polish language proficiency is mandatory.Nice to Have Experience with enterprise technology platforms.Cloud platform experience – AWS, Azure or GCP.Kubernetes / container platforms.CI/CD and DevOps practices.Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.Previous experience with HSBC or similar financial services environments.
