Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI SaaS Company Berlin | Remote flexibility with regular customer-site work I’m working with a heavily funded stealth SaaS company building an Agentic AI platform for complex enterprise workflows. They are backed by major investors, with a founding team from Anthropic, Uber and Google. The company has moved beyond experimentation: its technology is being deployed with major customers to automate real operational processes. They’re now looking for a senior engineer to take the platform into customer environments and own deployments from the initial problem through to production. What you’ll do: • Work directly with customer operations and IT teams • Turn real business problems into technical designs • Build AI agents, backend services and automated workflows • Integrate with APIs, databases, document stores and legacy systems • Define safe boundaries between AI decisions, rules and human approval • Own testing, deployment, monitoring and production reliability • Turn customer-specific learnings into reusable SaaS capabilities What success looks like: You’ve taken a complex, manual workflow, understood how it operates inside the customer’s business and replaced it with a reliable AI system used by real teams. It integrates with their existing technology, handles exceptions safely and delivers a measurable operational improvement.
