About The Role We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer specializing in React Native and Expo to join our innovative IT team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, developing, and maintaining our next-generation digital platform. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-performance, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UX designers, backend developers, DevOps, and QA specialists, to deliver seamless digital experiences. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in mobile application development using React Native and Expo, preferably within digital platforms or technology-driven growth companies. A solid understanding of modern software architecture principles, clean code practices, API design, testing, and performance optimization is essential. Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration within cross-functional teams is required. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, high levels of responsibility, and a passion for building innovative digital products. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are necessary to thrive in our collaborative environment. Responsibilities Participate actively in the development and architecture design of our new digital platform, focusing on mobile applications for Android and iOS.Create performant, scalable, and maintainable mobile apps utilizing React Native and Expo frameworks.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, backend teams, DevOps, and QA to ensure high-quality digital solutions.Manage the entire engineering lifecycle—from technical conception and development to testing, deployment, and operational support.Implement modern development standards, automated testing, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high software quality.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our mobile application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and ease of maintenance.Monitor and optimize the performance and stability of applications, addressing issues proactively.Bring innovative ideas to enhance user experience, development workflows, and technical architecture, actively implementing improvements.Leverage advanced AI-powered tools to enhance code quality, testing efficiency, documentation, and developer productivity.Take ownership of your solutions, providing technical support and guidance to team members when needed.Utilize your expertise in React Native, Expo, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Cloud to deliver robust solutions.
