Senior Java Developer / Architect - AI, Cloud, Microservices, AI-Enabled Systems - Remote - €85,000
Germany’s public sector is undergoing one of the largest digital transformation programmes in Europe.
Join a leading consultancy helping to modernise critical national infrastructure through large-scale cloud and software transformation projects.
One example is the German Justice Cloud, a major initiative supporting the digitalisation of more than 20,000 courts across Germany.
Working alongside experienced Software Architects and technical leaders, you’ll help design and deliver scalable, secure and future-proof software solutions for public sector organisations.
You’ll contribute to modernising legacy systems, implementing cloud-native technologies and exploring emerging technologies, including AI-enabled applications where they deliver genuine business value.
What you’ll be doing:
Developing modern Java applications for complex public sector environmentsDesigning and implementing cloud-native and microservice-based solutionsContributing to software architecture, technical design and architectural decision-makingSupporting the modernisation of existing enterprise applicationsWorking closely with customers, architects and development teams throughout the software lifecycleEvaluating emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions, cloud services and modern platform technologies
