About The Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at Scheidt & Bachmann Signalling Systems GmbH in Mönchengladbach. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that deliver tangible business value. Your expertise will help digitize and optimize our internal processes, improve system integrations, and enhance user experiences across various departments. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification. A minimum of two years of professional experience in developing and configuring Salesforce solutions is essential. Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform App Builder is required, demonstrating your proficiency in Salesforce development. You should have solid knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex programming, Salesforce Flows, and data modeling. Experience with REST API integrations, Git version control, Salesforce CLI, and basic Python scripting is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills in both German and English, along with a valid EU work permit, are necessary. Additionally, a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a user-centric approach to system design are highly valued. Responsibilities Develop innovative Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components, Apex controllers, and triggers based on detailed user stories and business requirements.Transform manual workflows into efficient digital processes by designing and implementing low-code automation with Salesforce Flows, enhancing operational efficiency.Configure the Salesforce platform, including data models, user interfaces, roles, and permissions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and security standards.Implement integrations with external systems through RESTful APIs, facilitating seamless data exchange and process automation.Utilize event-driven architecture by developing and managing Platform Events to support real-time data processing and system responsiveness.Work closely with business stakeholders and fellow developers, employing modern development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git, and Visual Studio Code to ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
