About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic project management team at Scheidt & Bachmann Signalling Systems GmbH, located in Mönchengladbach near Düsseldorf. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that deliver tangible business value. Your expertise will help optimize our business processes by transforming manual workflows into efficient digital solutions, supporting our mission to enhance transportation safety and efficiency through innovative technology. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by practical experience in Salesforce development. You should have at least two years of professional experience in configuring and developing Salesforce solutions, along with relevant certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform App Builder. Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex programming, Salesforce Flows, and data modeling is essential. Experience with REST API integrations, Git-based development workflows, Salesforce CLI, and basic knowledge of Python will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills in German and English, along with a valid EU work permit, are required. Additionally, a collaborative mindset and a design-oriented approach to problem-solving are highly valued. Responsibilities Develop innovative Salesforce solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex controllers, and triggers based on detailed user stories and business requirements.Transform manual processes into automated, efficient digital workflows by implementing low-code automation tools such as Salesforce Flows.Configure the Salesforce platform comprehensively, including data models, user interfaces, roles, and permission sets to ensure seamless system operation.Design and implement integrations with external systems through REST APIs, enabling real-time data exchange and process automation.Utilize event-driven architecture by developing and managing Platform Events to support real-time business processes.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and fellow developers, employing modern development tools like Salesforce CLI, Git, and Visual Studio to ensure high-quality deliverables.
