About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team dedicated to enhancing our Kubernetes-based hosting platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure high performance, stability, and scalability. You will work closely with other DevOps professionals and software engineers to design innovative solutions, automate processes, and implement best practices in cloud-native environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to shaping the future of our hosting services, providing our clients with reliable and efficient web hosting solutions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of open-source technology, with a focus on Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud infrastructure, within a company that values technical excellence and continuous improvement. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in systems and network administration, with hands-on experience in cloud and container orchestration technologies. A background in Linux system administration, familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana is essential. Candidates should have prior experience with automation and scripting, ideally using languages such as Go or Bash. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning new technologies are crucial. The ideal candidate will have completed relevant technical education or certifications and have demonstrated experience in deploying and managing scalable, high-availability systems. An understanding of DevOps principles, cloud platforms, and open-source tools will be highly advantageous. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize the infrastructure of our web hosting services, ensuring seamless operation and high availability.Contribute to the ongoing development of our Kubernetes-based hosting platform, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability.Implement and manage automation tools and processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and incident response.Develop and maintain Kubernetes operators and support Bare Metal deployments to enhance platform capabilities.Monitor Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie, proactively identifying and resolving issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and improve platform quality through creative automation and process enhancements.Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in open-source technologies, integrating new tools and practices where applicable.Participate in onboarding programs and continuous training to deepen technical expertise and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
