Senior .NET Developer NV1 security clearance is mandatory.12-month contract3 days on-site per week in Sydney CBD$750 - $825 per day incl. superAn opportunity is available for a Senior .NET Developer to join a large-scale technology environment supporting a Federal Government client in Sydney. You'll be joining an established delivery team working on business-critical applications, with a strong focus on modern .NET development, Azure, APIs and microservices. This is a hands-on position where you'll have ownership of complex development work while also contributing to technical design and engineering decisions. Key responsibilities include: Develop backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET CoreBuild and enhance microservices and REST APIsDevelop cloud solutions across Microsoft AzureWork with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Storage and Azure SQLOptimise application performance, reliability and database queriesApply secure development practices across applications, APIs and dataSupport CI/CD pipelines and cloud deploymentsConduct code reviews and mentor junior developersContribute to solution design and technical decisions What we're looking for: 5-7+ years' experience with C# and .NET/.NET CoreStrong hands-on Azure development experienceExperience with microservices and REST APIsStrong SQL/database knowledgeUnderstanding of OAuth, JWT and secure API developmentExperience with Git, CI/CD and DevOps practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilityApplicants will need to hold a current NV1 security clearance, making this a great opportunity to apply your .NET and Azure expertise within a large-scale Federal Government environment.
