The position provides first-level operational support for Databricks, Unity Catalog, user access, platform onboarding, incident and request tracking, documentation, testing, and usage monitoring. Working under the direction of the CIO and in collaboration with business users, IT teams, data owners, and platform providers, the position supports the implementation of approved business requirements while ensuring adherence to Mercedes-Benz policies, security requirements, and governance standards...Your Responsibilities:Data & AI Platforms Operations and SupportProvide first-level operational support for the Data & AI platform and serve as the initial contact for user inquiries, incidents, service requests, and access-related issuesTrack incidents and service requests through closure and communicate progress to affected users.Support user onboarding and administration activities including user, group, catalog, schema, and data-product onboarding in accordance with approved procedures.Maintain accurate records of user access, approval evidence, ownership assignments, and platform configuration detailsCoordinate periodic access reviews with data owners and follow up on identified remediation actions.Assist in the administration and governance of Unity Catalog, including metadata management, permissions maintenance, and data ownership documentation.Monitor platform health, job execution status, service availability, capacity utilization, and system notifications, escalating issues when requiredContribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, support trends, and opportunities to enhance platform operations and user experience.Maintain operating procedures, support documentation, user guidance, configuration records, and knowledge articles.Application supportProvide first-level support for assigned Finance and Sales applications.Register, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests until closurePerform initial problem analysis together with business users, resolve standard issues and escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal team or service provider.Keep affected users informed about incident status, workarounds, escalation, and closure.Support the analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation of approved business requirements and application changes.Coordinate test execution, defect tracking, retesting, and user acceptance.Support the implementation of information security requirements and guidelinesUpdate self-help documents/ user manuals Ensure that systems documentation in the relevant repositories is kept up-to-dateAutomation and digitalizationAssist in various IT digital transformation initiativesIdentify and analyze potential process optimization and/or standardization in close cooperation with the business partnersAsist in defining the best IT approach for automation and/or digitalization in line with approved internal toolsMonitor and report the progress of the agreed milestones Ensuring that project documentation in the relevant repositories is kept up-to-datePolicies, Security & Standards (Governance)Support the implement of information security processes based on security principles, policies, standards, and guidance from the local Information Security OfficerEnsure that all Mercedes-Benz information is processed according to its requirements for confidentiality, integrity and availabilityCoordinate various testing activities, such as Performance Testing, and Penetration TestingIdentify potential non-compliance and escalate it to the CIO or designated control owner.ComplianceCompliance to MB Integrity CodeCompliance to MB Policies and Guidelines (Local and Global where applicable) QualifikationenYour profile:Educational BackgroundGraduate in Information Technology or equivalent qualificationTechnical knowledgeBasic knowledge of data platforms and cloud technologiesExperience in Data, Analytics, AI, and emerging technologies is a plusUnderstanding of FOSSGood knowledge of Power PlatformSoft skills/individual competenceAbility to prioritize workload to appropriately respond to customer needs and demands.Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service excellenceSolution oriented mind setA team player who values collaborationPioneering spirit that embraces innovation, and a commitment to continuous learningTo be conscious of the requirement of Information Security and to apply it as appropriate.English business fluent in spoken and writtenBenefits Hybrides Arbeiten möglich Gesund­heits­maß­nahmen Mit­arbeiter­rabatte möglich Flexible Arbeits­zeit möglich Mit­arbeiter Events Park­platz Kantine, Café KontaktMercedes-Benz Cars Middle East FZEP.O.Box 261115, Jebel Ali000000 DubaiDetails zum StandortRecruit Me E-Mail: recruit-me@mercedes-benz.com BewerbenDie Mercedes-Benz Group.Die Mercedes-Benz Group AG (ehemals Daimler AG) ist eines der erfolgreichsten Automobilunternehmen der Welt.
