Locations: Poland, Europe, Kazakhstan, Georgia Client: A global mobility and urban services platform that offers ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries, and is one of the most downloaded mobility apps in the world. The project: You’ll be working with a growing Data Science team that focuses not just on training models, but on ensuring those models deliver real, measurable value, improving the actual user experience. The team works with a wide variety of data, from numerical and textual to visual, and cares as much about how well something works as whether it works at all. The team: This is a fully automated QA setup with no manual testers, and the team (data scientists, developers, and AQA engineer) is looking to add one more AQA to focus specifically on this area. Ideally, you’re a strong Python/development background person who moved into testing. You’ll cover API tests and model-service integration testing, treating ML models as a black box (no deep math or ML theory required). Technology stack: Python (Pytest), Linux, Bash, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, REST API and gRPC, Kafka or Kibana, SQL, AI Assistants Project Duration: 6 months+ Responsibilities And Tasks Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through deployment, testing backend services and analyzing results to identify issuesWrite API automated tests (Pytest or similar) and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentationIdentify, document, and track bugs through a bug tracking system, and perform regression testing to ensure stability after changesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and TechOps to clarify requirements and improve quality management processes Our Expectations Of The Ideal Candidate 5+ years of total engineering experience, with 3+ years in automation, predominantly backend testingStrong Python (Pytest) skills for writing test scripts, and solid Linux/Bash experienceUnderstanding of Docker/Kubernetes and basic CI/CD, with the ability to analyze backend service logs (e.g., Open Lens or similar tools)Skilled in testing RESTful and gRPC APIs, with basic SQL proficiencyExperience with Kafka and Kibana, or a willingness to quickly learn themGood understanding of client-server and/or microservice architectureFamiliarity with the basics of Machine Learning, and comfortable treating ML models as a black box for testing purposesActive use of AI assistants in daily workStrong team collaboration skills English: Intermediate (B1+) We Offer Flexible working time.Social benefits and perks.Fully remote work.Professional and ambitious team.Transparent system of professional and career development.Learning opportunities, seminars and conferences and time for exploring new technologies.The opportunity to realize your potential outside the projects: we arrange meetups and conferences where our staff can perform, develop professional communities.
