Build and run production-grade data products end to end, from design and development to deployment and operations.Apply strong backend engineering standards around clean code, APIs, testing, observability and performance.Ensure reliable data through quality checks, lineage, freshness, clear ownership and robust data models.Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data Science and support less experienced engineers through mentoring.Optimise services, pipelines and data models for scalability, reliability and cost.

Senior experience in backend engineering, data engineering or both, ideally in AWS, GCP or Azure.Strong software engineering skills with Python and the willingness to work with Go.Experience with APIs, pipelines, data modelling, schemas and production systems.A strong focus on data quality, observability, documentation and ownership.Good communication skills, sound technical judgement and a proactive mindset.
