About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a project for a leading European public sector organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, secure, and high-performing web applications that deliver excellent user experiences across devices and browsers.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will contribute to the architecture of front-end solutions, collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders, and help build scalable applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
You will have a direct impact on the quality, performance, accessibility, and security of the products delivered to end users.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern web applications using contemporary front-end frameworks, libraries, and web technologiesDesign and implement intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that provide an outstanding user experienceBuild scalable and reusable front-end components and architecture that support long-term product growthCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality softwareEnsure applications perform efficiently across different browsers, devices, and operating environmentsApply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure data handling, logging, and monitoringParticipate in software design discussions and contribute to technical decision-makingPerform unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of applicationsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while continuously improving code quality and development processesMaintain high standards of code integrity, documentation, organization, and maintainabilityDeliver solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements while aligning with user needs and business objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or completed 3-year higher education) in a relevant field and at least 7 years of professional experience in IT projectsStrong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, including building complex, modular client-side applicationsSolid expertise in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and modern front-end development best practicesExperience with web security, authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID ConnectProficiency with software development and collaboration tools, including Git, JIRA, Confluence, and integrating applications into CI/CD pipelinesExcellent English communication skills (minimum B2 level) and the ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to quickly adapt to new environments; French language skills and experience in public sector or multinational environments are considered a plus
