This opportunity is for a DevOps Engineer supporting a technology environment in Zürich, Switzerland. The role focuses on improving development and deployment processes through automation, continuous integration and delivery, cloud technologies, testing, security, and application monitoring. About the Role Resourcing Life Science is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain reliable software development and deployment workflows. You will be responsible for setting up automated build and release processes, supporting cloud deployments, managing source-control workflows, implementing automated testing, and monitoring applications in production environments. The ideal candidate has several years of DevOps experience, hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools, basic scripting skills with PowerShell, and a strong understanding of modern development and deployment practices. Key Responsibilities Set up, configure, and maintain automated build and release pipelines. Develop and optimize CI/CD processes to improve development and deployment efficiency. Work with Azure, Jenkins, and similar DevOps platforms. Manage source code, repositories, and branching strategies using Git. Integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle. Implement tools and processes for code quality and security analysis. Support cloud-based application deployments. Monitor applications and infrastructure to identify potential issues. Troubleshoot application, deployment, and environment-related problems. Collaborate with development and technical teams to improve delivery processes. Track and manage open-source and third-party software dependencies. Contribute to continuous improvements in automation, reliability, security, and deployment workflows. Required Qualifications Several years of professional experience in DevOps or a closely related engineering role. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices. Experience with automated build and release processes. Working knowledge of Git, source control, and branching strategies. Comfortable writing basic automation scripts using PowerShell. Experience supporting cloud deployments, preferably within Azure environments. Understanding of automated software testing and integration into development workflows.
