This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Technology Stack: React, TypeScript, Redux, and Tailwind CSS for modern frontend development; Storybook for reusable component design and documentation; Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Cucumber for automated testing and quality assurance; GitLab CI, Docker, feature flagging, and client-side observability tools for deployment, operations, and monitoring. What You'll Be Doing Design, build, and maintain production features using React and TypeScriptTranslate complex decisioning, pricing, eligibility, experimentation, and content requirements into clear and efficient user workflowsOwn frontend work from discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, controlled release, production support, and iterationBuild data-heavy interfaces including complex forms, tables, filters, query builders, visualisations, configuration editors, and drag-and-drop interactionsIntegrate versioned REST APIs and implement robust approaches to caching, invalidation, loading states, validation, and error handlingProtect important journeys with proportionate unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testsUse feature flags and telemetry to release safely and diagnose production issuesImprove frontend performance, resilience, maintainability, developer feedback loops, and reusable interaction patternsReview code, contribute to frontend design decisions, mentor colleagues, and uphold agreed engineering standardsWork directly with client stakeholders and delivery partners as requirements evolve, explaining frontend trade-offs and adapting scope without compromising usability, accessibility, or engineering quality What You'll Bring Along Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required6+ years of IT experience with significant experience in React, 10 years overallSubstantial professional experience delivering production React applications with TypeScriptExperience building complex, data-rich business applications rather than primarily content or marketing websitesStrong knowledge of component design, hooks, routing, client and server state management, asynchronous data flows, and REST API integrationExperience delivering complex forms and workflows with robust validation, error handling, and clear user feedbackPractical experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testingStrong HTML and CSS fundamentals, including evidence of responsive and accessible interface deliveryEvidence of independently owning substantial frontend work from design through production within a large or established codebaseExperience contributing to technical decisions, code reviews, reliable CI/CD delivery, and the development of other engineersEvidence of client-facing delivery in demanding or ambiguous environments, including explaining frontend trade-offs, responding to changing requirements, and setting realistic expectationsRedux or another mature approach to client and server state management Playwright, Cypress, or comparable end-to-end browser automation; Jest, Vitest, or comparable unit-testing toolsComplex enterprise applications built with Angular or Vue can support the assessment, although strong recent React experience remains important for this roleExperience in regulated, audited, workflow-heavy, or configuration-led products where correctness and safe release are important
