Description
We are looking for a Senior Java / Enterprise Application Developer to design, develop, implement, and support complex enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, application servers, REST/SOAP web services, databases, and Agile SDLC.
Location: Toronto, Ontario
This role involves working on large-scale applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions, participating in application design and development, and supporting solutions through implementation and production.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.
Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
Strong experience with REST and/or SOAP web services.
Hands-on experience with an enterprise application server such as WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, or similar.
Strong SQL and relational database experience.
Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications from design through implementation and production support.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum and iterative SDLC methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Informatica or enterprise data integration/ETL technologies.
Experience with microservices and distributed applications.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
