Senior GNSS Engineer Location: Calgary (Canada) You will be one of the technical leaders within u-blox’s expanding portfolio of high-precision positioning services, lead cross-team initiatives, mentor engineers, and dive into algorithms as needed. Your work will directly influence how industrial robotics and autonomous machines achieve centimeter-level accuracy worldwide. If you are a GNSS craftsperson who combines deep algorithmic expertise in the across multiple markets using high precision positioning with the ability to mentor, influence roadmaps, and turn complex customer problems into elegant solutions – this is your playground. Your Responsibilities Act as a senior lead on GNSS algorithms and positioning systems architecture.Participate in next-generation initiatives in the field of high-precision GNSS positioning, and rapidly prototype, validate and develop production-grade systemsSupport shaping and executing the technical roadmap with Product Owners and other engineersWork in cross business unit teams to support end-to-end algorithm implementation and ensure overall product successMentor engineers across the business unit, scale your impact through coaching and shared practicesYour Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in developing high-precision GNSS products for various market segments (e.g., Survey, Mapping, Construction, Agriculture)Expertise in solving complex engineering problems with practical solutionsStrong ability to productize in C/C++Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives without formal authorityExcellent communication – from translating technical discussion to POs to whiteboarding sessions with peersWhat you’ll love Real ownership in a truly flat structure – you collaborate as peers with everyoneDirect customer loop: work closely with integration partners and end-customers (e.g., robotic lawnmower OEMs, precision-ag fleets) and see your work in the fieldTime and budget to publish, speak at conferences, and stay at the cutting edgeSurround yourself with other recognized experts who have many years in the industry and still love to codeIf this sounds like the technical playground you’ve been looking for – let’s talk.What are your perks?
