They're looking for a Mid-Level ABAP Developer to join their distributed team. This permanent, fully remote role offers the opportunity to work with modern S/4HANA technologies while collaborating directly with stakeholders across multiple regions. Position Overview As a Mid-Level ABAP Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain custom applications and enhancements within an SAP S/4HANA environment. You'll play a key role in developing CDS views and OData services using modern ABAP programming models, translating functional specifications into scalable technical solutions that support business transformation initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Responsibilities Design and build custom applications within SAP S/4HANA environments Develop CDS views and OData services using modern ABAP programming models Translate functional specifications into scalable technical designs Code, test, and deploy solutions following structured Change Request lifecycles Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and debugging activities Write clean, performant code aligned to Object-Oriented Programming and RAP standards Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders directly Support integration of backend ABAP architecture with SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end applications Requirements Solid hands-on ABAP development experience within SAP S/4HANA environments Practical experience building CDS views and OData services Object-oriented ABAP with working knowledge of RAP programming model Experience taking functional specifications through technical design, build, testing, and deployment Change Request delivery and incident resolution in live support or AMS Confident working directly with functional consultants and business stakeholders Fluent written and spoken English Ability to work effectively in fully remote, distributed teams SAP Fiori/UI5 exposure (desirable) Performance tuning and code quality experience with ABAP Test Cockpit and Clean Core principles (desirable) Experience in multi-country, shared services, or global business services environments (desirable) Additional European languages (desirable) Benefits Permanent contract with competitive salary Fully remote working arrangement Long-term project continuity and stability Direct stakeholder collaboration opportunities Clear workstream ownership and autonomy Modern technology stack with S/4HANA and current ABAP Alongside these benefits, you'll be immersed in a collaborative, self-directed environment working with a distributed global team that values equal opportunities and inclusivity.
