Junior ML DevOps Engineer You have the unique opportunity to join our team, building an AI/ML platform to develop and train state-of-the-art AI-based cybersecurity agents. This is a hands-on infrastructure work in a security-sensitive environment, in collaboration with real external R&D teams building solutions on this very platform. We are looking for a junior engineer who wants to grow into a platform specialist: you will work alongside experienced engineers from day one, and we expect you to learn a lot on the job including ML infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, and working in a classified environment. We are looking for someone curious and driven to figure things out.  Key Responsibilities Help build and operate AI/ML infrastructure: GPU cluster management (Incus, LXD fork), Kubernetes (Talos Linux), model registry, inference serving, and data pipelinesMaintain reproducible, auditable environments with CI/CD and configuration management (Ansible, GitOps)Support platform users, internal and external: on-boarding, troubleshooting, and writing documentationDeploy and benchmark open-weight LLMs and other models on our own hardwareTake part in planning with R&D technical leads and project managers so you understand how infrastructure decisions connect to project content, budget, and scheduleLearn and apply security-by-design practices in a classified environment: hardening, isolation, patching, complianceGrow with the team and take on more ownership as your skills developThis role contributes to the Research and Development project AIDA, building into EU defence capabilities Ideal candidate must have Solid Linux fundamentals: comfortable on the command line, understand how services, networking, and permissions workFamiliarity with Git and basic scripting in Python or BashSome hands-on exposure to containers (Docker or similar) from work, studies, or personal projectsAbility to learn independently, ask good questions, and document what you findGood communication skills, both spoken and written, including proficiency in EnglishWillingness to apply for security clearanceReadiness to work on-site in Tallinn, with the option for partial hybrid work if desired Ideal candidate would have experience in or would be willing to learn Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management (e.g. Ansible).  ML workloads: GPU drivers/CUDA, model serving (vLLM, Ollama, llama.cpp or similar), experiment tracking (Mlflow or similar).  Infrastructure as code, GitOps, and observability tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Argo CD/Flux, KubeFlow, Prometheus/Grafana).  Cybersecurity practices, methodologies and standards.  Working in restricted network environments.  A degree in computer science or IT is a plus, but relevant side projects or open-source contributions that show how you work counts just as much.
