Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support data-driven and AI-focused projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as data scientists and analysts.
The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security, and contributing to technical documentation.
The Software Engineer will also participate in planning sessions, provide input on architectural decisions, and continuously explore new technologies and best practices relevant to AI, data, and software engineering.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs, services, and integrations.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in designing scalable and maintainable systems.Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering projects is a plus, along with familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
