Job Description: Do you enjoy turning cloud usage data into measurable savings? We’re looking for a hands-on FinOps Cloud Engineer to optimise cloud spend across Azure, AWS and GCP, with a strong focus on logging, observability, data ingestion, retention and storage. What you’ll do: Identify and deliver cloud cost optimisation opportunities.Analyse billing, logging and usage data to uncover cost drivers.Optimise log ingestion, routing, filtering, retention and storage.Build automation using Python, Bash, Terraform and CI/CD.Implement cost controls, budgets, quotas, lifecycle policies and guardrails.Improve tagging, cost allocation, showback and chargeback.Develop savings forecasts and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.Partner with platform, SRE, security and application teams to deliver sustainable savings.Monitor for cost regression and configuration drift. What you’ll bring: Hands-on experience with at least two of Azure, AWS and GCP.Strong knowledge of cloud logging, monitoring and storage cost drivers.Practical FinOps experience, including governance, allocation and forecasting.Proven experience delivering measurable cloud savings.Strong skills in Python, Bash and/or Terraform.Experience working in a governed or regulated enterprise environment.Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable: Azure, AWS or GCP certifications; FinOps certification; financial services experience.
