A dedicated team provides 24/7 oversight to ensure continuous service and rapid issue resolution, giving team members the opportunity to work on mission-critical financial systems. Role Description The ATM Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Yerevan, Armenia. In this role, the engineer designs, implements, and maintains software for ATM devices and related back-end services, focusing on reliability, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features, troubleshooting and debugging issues in production systems, integrating ATM applications with internal and external services, and optimizing existing code. The engineer collaborates with hardware engineers, network and operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality, participates in code reviews, writes automated tests, and contributes to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems concepts.Experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Python).Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns.Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.Experience with secure coding practices, especially in financial or payment systems, is highly beneficial.Familiarity with networking fundamentals and distributed systems is an advantage.Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code; experience with version control and CI/CD tools.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.English communication skills sufficient for technical collaboration and documentation; knowledge of Armenian is a plus.
