About the Role Lumenalta is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join its team of talented senior-level developers and contribute to ambitious client projects. You will use your expertise in iOS development, Swift, Java, Objective-C, mobile applications, algorithms, and software design to build high-quality technology solutions. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with ambiguous or evolving requirements. As part of Lumenalta's fully remote environment, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and client teams while following Agile and Lean Startup methodologies and maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications. Build robust mobile application features using Swift, Objective-C, and Java. Apply strong software design and coding practices to create clean, maintainable solutions. Use fundamental algorithms and data structures to develop efficient mobile applications. Analyze complex technical challenges and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders. Translate ambiguous or undefined requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions. Collaborate with senior-level engineers and client teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in Agile development processes and iterative product delivery. Apply Lean Startup principles to support experimentation and continuous product improvement. Maintain high standards for application performance, reliability, quality, and operational excellence. Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best-practice initiatives. Contribute to code quality and maintainability across assigned projects. Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful technology outcomes. Continuously evaluate and adopt relevant modern technologies and development practices. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional iOS development experience. Strong experience designing and developing iOS applications. Strong software design and coding skills using Swift and/or Objective-C. Experience with Java. Solid understanding of fundamental algorithms and mobile application development. Strong analytical and abstract problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or undefined problems. Passion for operational excellence and high-quality software delivery. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical challenges, trade-offs, and solutions. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Knowledge of Lean Startup methodologies. Ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience building complex or customer-facing iOS applications. Experience working with distributed engineering teams. Experience with modern iOS architecture and mobile development practices. Experience with application testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Experience contributing to software architecture and technical decision-making. Experience working in technology consulting or digital transformation environments.
