Lead Developer β€” Global Operations Platform Founding full-stack engineer Β· design, build & multi-country roll-out Company: Akaliko Co., Ltd. Location: Thailand HQ β€” Pathum Thani (Rangsit), with international travel to Regional Remanufacturing Service Centres (RRSCs) Reports to: Sean David Ross, International Workshop Operations Director Employment type: Full-time Travel: 20–30% (Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Burkina Faso, South Africa) About Akaliko Global Akaliko Global remanufactures hydraulic cylinders for Tier-1 mining clients across Regional Remanufacturing Service Centres (RRSCs) in Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Burkina Faso and South Africa, supported from our Thailand HQ. Role Purpose Design, build and lead the multi-country roll-out of Akaliko's new Global Operations Platform across all reman RRSCs β€” owning the architecture, codebase, data model, deployment and support end-to-end β€” and translate validated workshop and quality processes into a clean, simple, production system. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Build Design the Platform's architecture and data model from the ground up β€” product/component registers, work-order lifecycle, inspection & processing, warranty, and QMS.Build the application full-stack (front-end, back-end, database) on an approved technology stack.Own deployment, environments, version control, backups, security and system administration.Build on the validated requirements and interactive prototypes already produced (process models, data-cell specifications, working HTML/JS demos).Product & Process Translate business processes β€” including QMS-integrated NCR/CAPA and warranty workflows β€” into system features, with forced clean-data input and clear, ESL (English Second Language)-friendly UI.Keep the design product-agnostic where practical (generalisable beyond hydraulic cylinders).Maintain a prioritised improvement backlog from site feedback.Implementation & Roll-out Plan and execute the Platform's phased deployment to each RRSC. Thailand operations first.Configure and adapt to site-specific workflows, workshop layouts and local requirements.Manage site-level data setup and migration (equipment registers, work-order histories, customer and inventory data).Conduct on-site and remote User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document sign-off.Training & Support Develop training materials and deliver end-user training at each RRSC (in person and remote).Provide first-line support post-go-live; triage and resolve issues.Governance & Reporting Report implementation progress, risks and site readiness to the International Workshop Operations Director.Align delivery to the company's Digital Governance framework and ISO 9001:2015 QMS documentation and control requirements.Uphold data integrity, user-access control and system-security practices across all sites.Requirements Essential Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field β€” or equivalent professional experience.4+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications, ideally including at least one system built from scratch.Strong back-end: PHP / Laravel preferred (matches the reference system and the regional talent pool) or a comparable modern framework; relational database design and migrations (MySQL / PostgreSQL).Strong front-end: JavaScript with a modern approach (Inertia + Vue, Livewire, or React) plus HTML/CSS.Demonstrated ownership: architecture decisions, deployment, security and version control.Proven ability to gather requirements from non-technical operational users and turn them into working software.Strong documentation and training-delivery skills.Fluent professional English (working language); effective with multinational site teams.Willing and able to travel internationally, including to remote industrial / mining-region sites.Desirable Experience with workshop, manufacturing, remanufacturing or heavy-industry systems, or ERP / MES / CMMS platforms.Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality-management systems and controlled documentation.DevOps / hosting (Linux, CI/CD, backups, monitoring).Multi-site or international system-rollout experience.Additional languages relevant to site locations (Thai, Mongolian, French and/or Chinese).Exposure to mining-industry clients or Tier-1 OEM supply chains.Key Working Relationships International Workshop Operations Director (direct supervisor).QMS Manager & Compliance Lead (process and documentation alignment).RRSC site managers and workshop supervisors (reman sites, five countries).Future Platform team members, as the function grows.Legacy AGIPS development team β€” reference only, not a working dependency.What We Offer A rare opportunity to design and own a company-wide platform end-to-end, from a clean slate.International exposure and travel across Asia-Pacific and Africa.Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and ownership.Base at Akaliko Global HQ, Pathum Thani (Rangsit), Thailand.
