## About the Role
Veeva Systems is seeking a **Web Developer** to join the Marketing Digital team as the primary backend developer supporting **veeva.com and other Marketing websites**.
You will serve as an expert PHP and WordPress developer, working alongside front-end developers to build functional features and integrations while helping ensure strong site architecture, scalability, security, and performance.
This is a fully remote role for a self-directed engineer who values high-quality, maintainable code, technical collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.
You will develop enterprise-level WordPress solutions, integrate internal and external systems through APIs, monitor live website performance, and contribute to best practices across web development projects.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom website features to meet stakeholder needs.
- Build enterprise-level **WordPress plugins and themes**, primarily using PHP and Gutenberg blocks with React.js.
