Lead AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise-scale AI and platform engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in AI engineering, data platforms, cloud technologies, software architecture, and AI/ML platform development. The role requires strong techno-functional capabilities, solution architecture expertise, stakeholder management, and end-to-end experience delivering scalable AI solutions across large and complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, platform teams, product owners, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex business and analytical requirements into robust, secure, scalable, and high-performance AI solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and operationalize enterprise-scale AI and platform automation solutions.Lead end-to-end delivery of AI engineering and AI platform initiatives.Develop scalable and reusable AI components, frameworks, and pipelines.Design and implement AI solutions covering data ingestion, preparation, AI engineering, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise data and analytics platforms.Design scalable cloud-native and microservices-based AI deployment architectures.Optimize AI workloads across Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure-based data platforms.Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure reproducibility and operational excellence.Develop and deploy AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, Generative AI, and agentic workflows.Explore and integrate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, streaming ML capabilities, and vector databases.Implement CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and operational processes for AI workloads.Support complete AI solution lifecycle from requirement gathering through development, deployment, and post-implementation support.Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, architects, analytics teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.Translate analytical and business requirements into clear technical requirements and solution designs.Conduct technical reviews and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.Troubleshoot complex AI, platform, integration, and operational issues.Provide technical leadership during customer and stakeholder workshops and solution discussions.Mentor junior engineers and support technical capability development across engineering teams.Mandatory Technical Skills Strong expertise in AI Engineering and AI Platform Architecture.Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP).Experience with MCP servers.Experience with agentic workflow deployment and AI platform architectures.Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse paradigms.Experience integrating AI solutions with large-scale data platforms.Strong Microsoft Azure experience.Experience with Azure Databricks.Experience with Azure Functions.Experience with Azure Synapse.Experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Fabric.Experience with Azure Event Hub.Strong experience with CI/CD and automation.Experience with monitoring, observability, and model lifecycle management.Experience with microservices and containerized architectures.Familiarity with Kubernetes.Strong Python and SQL skills.Experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance AI components.Required Skills 10+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or related technology environments.Strong solution architecture and system design expertise.Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology solutions.Strong AI engineering and data platform expertise.Experience working with cloud-native development patterns.Strong understanding of modern data platforms and Lakehouse architectures.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Business and technical systems would be a preference.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Professional experience in AI engineering, data platforms, cloud engineering, or software architecture.Experience delivering large-scale AI, machine learning, or data platform solutions.Experience working in multinational or enterprise project environments.Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures.Experience designing reusable AI frameworks,
