The Position Software Development Technology Expert In this role, you will provide global support for technical initiatives, share knowledge internationally, and shape the organization's technical direction. We are looking for deep expertise across multiple technology areas, a commitment to high code quality and security standards, and a proven ability to remove team obstacles while optimizing developer productivity across the software development lifecycle. The Opportunity: Scope: Provide strategic technical guidance and set the direction for digital product development in alignment with business goals and priorities. Take ownership of developing new components and ideas while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver end-to-end experiences to end users. Architectural Evolution: Provide strategic technology and architecture advisory for AI-ready digital products while enforcing domain boundaries and maintaining high performance. AI-based software development: Drive the team toward adopting best practices and tools in AI-based software development. Stakeholder Management: Act as an advisor on technology and software development topics, providing direction for mid- to long-term goals and objectives. Impact/Strategy: Provide global support for innovative and technological initiatives. Share knowledge locally and on global platforms, while actively engaging in RDT Data Domain and site-related activities. Business/Technical ability: Actively contribute to the advancement of technical knowledge. Inspire innovation, drive solutions in line with technology trends, and focus on designing new approaches to existing problems. Data & AI Knowledge: Build frontier digital products that create a 'Data for AI' and 'AI for Data' portfolio, enabling Roche business units to discover the true value of Data and AI. Serve as the technology lead in a team developing digital products to manage AI and Data assets—an essential capability for implementing the Group Data Strategy and building an AI-ready organization. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 20% subject to both individual and company performance.
