Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, and building scalable production environments?
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international technology environment and play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams, taking ownership of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes while promoting modern DevOps, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation practices.
🌍 This is a 100% remote position, but candidates must be based and reside in Portugal.
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and/or Jenkins.Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code best practices.Work with key AWS services, particularly EC2, EKS, and RDS.Manage containerized applications and environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Manage GitOps deployments with Argo CD, including application definitions and environment configurations.Automate build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure processes across multiple environments.Design and implement zero-downtime deployment strategies to ensure high availability.Set up and maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.Contribute to incident management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production environments.Apply DevSecOps best practices, integrating security and compliance throughout the software delivery lifecycle.Support development teams in adopting DevOps, automation, and cloud best practices.Create and maintain clear technical and operational documentation.
🔎 What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar position.Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.Solid experience with AWS, particularly EC2, EKS, and RDS.Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience managing and supporting high-availability production environments.Good understanding of GitOps and automated deployment practices.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.Good level of English, both written and spoken.
