Senior Backend Engineer / Backend Development Lead (Golang + Java)

Your new role
Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and platform architecture.Drive technical excellence, code quality, and engineering best practices.Develop and optimize high-performance, distributed, and cloud-native applications.Enhance system reliability, security, and scalability across production environments.Collaborate closely with China development team and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI-powered solutions.Champion modern engineering practices, including automation, DevOps, and AI-assisted development.Proven leadership experience in co-leading development teams, providing technical guidance, coordinating offshore engineers, and driving cross-functional project delivery across complex enterprise systems.
What you'll need to succeed
5-8 years of backend development experience, with experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.Strong expertise in Go, Java, Spring Boot-based development.Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and high-concurrency systems.Solid understanding of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and application security.Experience working within product-focused, AI, MarTech, AdTech, SaaS, or Internet-based environments is highly preferred.Exposure to Web3, blockchain technologies, or AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) would be advantageous.Fluent Mandarin Chinese is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and regional teams.
