Their products handle real money and real regulatory weight — which means the engineering problems are genuinely hard, and the code you write matters to thousands of daily users. They're growing the core product team and looking for a senior full-stack engineer to take ownership of features end to end, from shaping the approach with the Product Owner through to production. What you'll be doing Building and evolving customer-facing web applications on a mature Java Spring codebase with Angular on the front endWorking in a cross-functional team alongside Product, UX and Design — not taking tickets off a backlog, but helping decide what gets builtDriving architectural decisions and pushing the platform toward a cleaner, more modular structureSetting the technical bar through code review, testing and mentoring less experienced developers What you'll need 5+ years of professional Java development (Spring / Spring Boot, REST, JPA, SQL)3+ years building production applications in AngularCommercial experience within financial services or insurance — you understand why compliance, auditability and data integrity aren't negotiableFluent German (C1 or better) and solid EnglishBased in or within commuting distance of Frankfurt am Main Also useful Experience migrating monolithic systems toward microservicesKafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines What's on offer Competitive base salary, hybrid working with genuine flexibility, a well-funded training budget, and a team that ships.
