Senior/Lead Software Engineer – Java/Python

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join a new project for a leading global financial market infrastructure provider and contribute to the development of business-critical platforms used across international markets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong backend development expertise in Java and Python/Django, capable of working throughout the entire software development lifecycle. The engineer will participate in requirements analysis, solution design, effort estimation, implementation, testing, code reviews, and production releases. The role requires a proactive and product-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with product owners, architects, developers, cybersecurity specialists, and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. The remote work option is available to candidates residing and working within Slovakia.
