Azure Platform Engineer (Permanent) Prague | Hybrid Working Global Services / Government & Public Sector We’re seeking a hands-on Azure Platform Engineer to build and operate a modern, cloud-native platform supporting critical services within a global, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure-as-code across multiple environmentsBuild and operate AKS clusters, networking, and shared platform servicesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment workflowsImplement monitoring, observability, alerting, and automated operationsDrive cost optimisation (autoscaling, right-sizing, scale-to-zero strategies)Apply an AI-first approach, using agentic AI tooling to enhance deliveryWork in an iterative, board-tracked environment (Azure DevOps or GitHub Projects)Participate in peer code reviews and uphold engineering best practicesMaintain clear architecture and technical documentation Skills & Experience Required Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud/platform engineering in large organisationsExpertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep)Proven experience operating Kubernetes / AKS in productionExperience with CI/CD and GitOps (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)Strong scripting & automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and platform designDegree in Computer Science or a related disciplineGood English language skills (mandatory) If this sounds like a good fit, please apply or reach out for a confidential discussion.
