Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects for one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands, contributing to the development of scalable data and infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and thrives in collaborative environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data and infrastructure solutionsDevelop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principlesCollaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutionsTranslate business needs into robust technical implementationsEnsure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systemsIdentify opportunities to improve existing systems and processesProvide clear insights into technical decisions and their business value Job requirements Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly TerraformSolid background in data engineering and infrastructure designExperience working in product-driven environmentsAbility to work independently in a remote setup Soft Skills Excellent communication skillsStrong team player with a collaborative mindsetProactive, “can-do” attitude with out-of-the-box thinkingFocus on delivering value and practical solutionsPositive and constructive approach to teamwork Contract Details Contract role (external/consultant)Remote work possible
