Description

Senior Site Reliability Engineer | Rotterdam | €120,000 I’m hiring a Senior SRE for an e-commerce platform rebuilding its core technology, from the frontend to its pricing, content and product engines. You’ll take ownership of production reliability as the new platform takes shape. That includes defining SLOs, improving distributed tracing, making releases safer and keeping cloud costs under control. You’ll also own the infrastructure running AI agents and background automation, dealing with latency, rate limits, queues and provider availability. The stack includes GCP, Cloud Run, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Redis, Laravel and Sentry. We’re looking for someone who has operated distributed systems in production, can troubleshoot across application and infrastructure boundaries, and writes tooling in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript. Hands-on GCP and Terraform experience is essential; familiarity with Laravel and operating LLM integrations is relevant too. This is a hands-on role with room to set engineering standards and improve how teams deploy and run their services. You’ll also lead incident response and turn post-mortem findings into lasting improvements. The salary is €120,000 per year and the process consists of two interviews. The team works from the Rotterdam office five days a week. Interested? Send me a message and I’ll walk you through the team, the technical challenges and what’s expected.
