About the roleSCS is building a dedicated delivery capability for two enterprise security platforms: Infoblox DDI and Imperva Database Activity Monitoring.
We are looking for one engineer to own both tracks across implementation and ongoing support for our regional customers.
This is a hands-on role.
You will work directly with customer teams network, infrastructure, database and security to deploy, tune and support these platforms in live enterprise environments.
Formal product certification is not a prerequisite.
We are looking for someone with strong fundamentals in DNS, Active Directory and databases who wants to specialise in security, and we will invest in vendor training to get you there.
What you will doDeploy and configure Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) across internal and external DNS environmentsDeploy Imperva/Thales DAM agents and gateways, define audit and security policies, and tune them to the customer's compliance requirementsRun health checks, apply upgrades and patches, and manage incidents and change requests through to closureProduce implementation documentation, SOPs, root cause analyses and periodic service reportsAct as the day-to-day technical point of contact for assigned customers, including on-site visits during project phases
What we are looking forCore technical foundationSolid understanding of DNS architecture, covering internal and external DNS, zone design, resolution flow and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and how it integrates with DNS and DHCPDatabase fundamentals across at least one or two enterprise platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including user and privilege models, audit logs and native auditingComfortable reading and writing SQL queriesWindows and Linux server administration, including agent installation and troubleshootingNetworking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing basics, firewall rules and packet capture
