Description
Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
We are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in development and implementation projects that have a complex technical component within a large enterprise environment.
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: 31 December 2027, with an option to extend
Location: Utrecht - Hybrid (2-3 days per week working from home)
Responsibilities
Ensure that the team delivers the required deliverables (designs, products, services, and documentation) with the expected quality as defined in the project requirements.
These relate to IT Infrastructure and Security products.Oversee deployment activities following a DTAP (Development, Test, Acceptance, Production) approach.Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project within the agreed constraints of time, quality, scope, budget, and information.Represent the project on the client's Project Board.Report progress and status in FCC.Act as mentor and manager for project resources and team leads.Provide reporting during operational meetings.Ensure the project remains adequately staffed, both qualitatively and quantitatively.Coordinate effectively with fellow Project Managers responsible for other projects within the same programme.
Requirements
Proven experience as an effective project manager for IT assignments, preferably in development, onboarding/T&T, operations, and PMO environments, across the full project lifecycle.PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.Agile Practitioner certification (SAFe 5).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and departments.Ability to operate successfully within a politically sensitive environment.Dutch passport required.Full professional proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken.Previous experience with government projects, preferably within the public safety/security sector, is highly desirable.
Additional Information
The team works in a hybrid model.Location: Utrecht region, occasional travel to the Rotterdam region, with 2-3 days per week remote working.
