About The Role
As a Data Innovation Lab professional at AXA, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data and artificial intelligence to generate tangible business value.
You will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary "AI Business Capabilities" team, collaborating closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business experts to develop and operationalize innovative AI solutions.
Your primary focus will be on transitioning promising AI experiments into stable, production-ready systems, ensuring their reliable operation within our complex IT landscape.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between experimental AI models and practical, scalable applications that directly impact core business processes.
Your expertise will contribute to the continuous enhancement of our AI systems, supporting AXA's long-term transformation in the insurance industry.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience in frameworks such as FastAPI, Pydantic, Celery, Polars, PyTorch, and Transformers.
A solid understanding of deploying and operating AI and machine learning systems using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms such as AWS is essential.
Experience with MLOps and LLMOps practices, including monitoring and incident management with tools like Grafana and OTEL, is highly desirable.
Candidates should have a proactive mindset, with the ability to learn and adapt to complex insurance processes to develop effective AI solutions.
Familiarity with SQL and Typescript is beneficial.
Additionally, experience in developing workflows based on large language models (LLMs), including agent design, prompting strategies, and tools like Mlflow or Langfuse, will be considered a plus.
A background in project development from conception to stable operation, combined with a commitment to sustainable software engineering practices, is preferred.
