Carseer is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team in Amman.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable software solutions.
This position will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications, contribute to architectural decisions, and support the continuous improvement of our technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs.Develop clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.Work with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Angular to build and enhance applications.Design and implement software solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.Contribute to software architecture, design patterns, and technical decisions.Lead the development of new features and contribute to improving existing systems.Review code and provide technical guidance to other developers.Mentor and support junior and mid-level software engineers.Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements.Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.Support software release and deployment processes.Contribute to improving development standards, processes, performance, scalability, and system reliability.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with .NET technologies.Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.Strong experience with Angular and modern web development.Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and deliver solutions independently.Nice to Have
