The Role: Senior Software Engineer, Integrations We're growing our Integrations team and looking for a senior engineer who wants to shape how Humanitix connects to the outside world. This role sits at the centre of two big pushes: making our platform genuinely useful to AI systems and agents, and deepening our connections with external partners You'll Work On Extending and hardening our public API so hosts, developers, and third parties can build on top of Humanitix reliably.Building and maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations, enabling AI assistants and agents to interact with Humanitix data and workflows.Growing our footprint with external partners such as Google, HubSpot, and reseller/distribution platforms (e.g. Viator/TripAdvisor via OCTO) — covering listings, sync, payments, and reconciliation.Designing integration patterns that are secure, well-documented, and easy for both internal teams and external partners to adopt.Owning problems end-to-end: from API design and data sync through to monitoring, error handling, and partner support. Requirements Be ethically aligned and genuinely inspired by our mission.A good sense of humour and warm heart - your colleagues are awesome human beings who bring their personality into the office.A great work ethic and the confidence to escalate problems and ask your colleagues for help.A good level of experience in our stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, React, AWS, MongoDB).Experience designing or consuming APIs at scale, and an interest in emerging standards like MCP and AI-agent tooling.Experience integrating with third-party platforms/partners (payments, auth, data sync, webhooks).Expert in documentation and testing — integration work lives or dies on clear contracts.Understanding of design principles behind a scalable, secure application.A curiosity and a thirst for learning.A keen eye for design and the desire to add the extra 1% that make good integrations great.
