Job Description: Mobile Application Developer Position: Mobile Application Developer Experience: Up to 1 Year Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Location: Dhobighat, Lalitpur About the Role Probits is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mobile Application Developer with up to 1 year of professional experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mobile application development and hands-on experience with React Native. You will work closely with developers, QA, designers, and project managers to develop, test, maintain, and improve mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer to strengthen their technical skills while working on real-world projects for international clients. Key Responsibilities ● Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native. ● Build responsive, user-friendly, and reliable mobile interfaces. ● Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. ● Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues. ● Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices. ● Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers. ● Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and project managers to deliver project requirements. ● Perform application testing and assist in identifying and resolving bugs. ● Support application performance optimization and improvements. ● Use Git for version control and follow established development workflows. ● Participate in Agile ceremonies, team discussions, and sprint activities. ● Stay updated with relevant mobile development technologies and best practices . Requirements ● Up to 1 year of professional experience in mobile application development. ● Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. ● Hands-on experience with React Native through professional, academic, internship, or personal projects. ● Good understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript. ● Basic understanding of mobile application architecture and development concepts. ● Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON. ● Basic knowledge of Git and version control systems. ● Understanding of responsive mobile UI/UX principles. ● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. ● Good communication and teamwork skills. ● Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively with senior developers. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with Firebase or similar backend services. ● Experience working with Android Studio or Xcode. ● Experience publishing or preparing applications for the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. ● Familiarity with mobile application testing and debugging tools. ● Basic understanding of CI/CD and mobile application deployment. ● Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot. ● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. ● Experience developing and maintaining personal or academic mobile applications.
