Role Description The Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer contract role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations, services, and applications within Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms. This hybrid position is based in Australian Capital Territory, Australia, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day activities include analyzing business and technical requirements, modeling data structures, building and optimizing database interactions, and developing ETL processes to support data flows across systems. The developer will create and maintain Oracle Reports, troubleshoot performance and integration issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable middleware solutions. The role also involves documenting technical designs, supporting testing and deployment activities, and recommending improvements to existing architectures and workflows. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Databases to design effective schemas and optimize data access.Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Oracle Reports to support robust data integration and reporting solutions.Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, including experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware components and integration frameworks.Experience with Oracle database technologies, SQL/PLSQL, and related tools is highly beneficial.Knowledge of middleware architecture, web services (REST/SOAP), APIs, and integration patterns is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities, with attention to performance, scalability, and security.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage priorities in a contract setting.A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous; prior experience in HR or enterprise systems integration is a plus.
