Why this role: We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of our third-party integrations.
Today, our external integrations are distributed across multiple teams and codebases, creating ownership gaps, maintenance overhead, and inconsistencies in how integrations are designed and operated.
This role will bring a dedicated senior owner to this area, responsible for the architecture, development, reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our integration ecosystem.
You will work across both frontend and backend, build reusable integration patterns, and act as the primary technical point of contact for integration-related discussions with external partners.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable taking ownership from technical design through production operations.
What you will do:
Own the architecture, development, maintenance, and reliability of complex third-party integrations end-to-end.Design and implement integrations using REST, GraphQL, webhooks, SFTP, and message queues.Build secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWT, API keys, HMAC, mTLS, and appropriate secret management.Ensure integration reliability through idempotency, retries, rate limiting, circuit breakers, dead-letter queues, and monitoring.Develop data mappings, schema normalization, API versioning, structured logging, metrics, and tracing.Build and maintain React-based integration interfaces, including connection, OAuth consent, and status flows.Act as the technical point of contact for external integration partners, participating in API, implementation, and troubleshooting discussions.Create reusable integration components, technical standards, documentation, and playbooks.Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and API client development while applying strong engineering judgment and reviewing all AI-generated output.
What you will bring:
6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production applications.Proven experience building and owning complex third-party integrations end-to-end — a core requirement for this role.Strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.Solid understanding of APIs, asynchronous processing, webhooks, authentication, data mapping, and integration reliability.Demonstrable professional experience with AI-assisted software development tools and shipping production code with their support.Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and know when and where AI should not be used, particularly in security- and reliability-critical areas.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.Professional English proficiency and confidence communicating with external technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools.PHP and/or Java experience, particularly with legacy or enterprise systems.PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS.NestJS, Express, or Fastify.Docker, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms.API testing/mocking tools such as MSW or WireMock.Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, or iPaaS platforms such as n8n or Workato.Experience with CRM/ERP or other enterprise platforms.Advanced English language skills
