Description

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services industry to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their IT Technology Platform team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise applications while supporting digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications based on business requirements.Deliver integration and interface solutions for internal and external systems.Develop and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities for digital platforms.Perform system impact analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.Conduct code reviews and non-functional testing to ensure high-quality delivery.Evaluate technology solutions and recommend improvements aligned with business needs.Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to manage project priorities and delivery. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.7+ years of hands-on full stack development experience.Strong experience with:Java/J2EE frameworks (Spring, Struts, JSP)JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Angular / Vue.js)Node.js, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices architectureExperience with cloud-native development, Kubernetes, VMware TKGI/TAS, and DevOps practices.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies.Understanding of authentication and security frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML2).Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence.Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
