Senior Backend Engineer

ABOUT GLANA Glana is a digital hospitality platform. A guest scans the QR code on the table and sees the live bill pulled from the restaurant's POS. They can split it, tip, and pay within seconds. We've built a lot on top of that: ordering from the table, counter pickup, table reservations, a CRM with loyalty and campaigns, and much more. Glana is live in real venues and moves real money every day. We're a team with a production system and genuinely hard problems. Every engineer here owns large parts of the product. THE ROLE We're looking for a strong backend engineer to help grow the Glana platform and build new products on top of it. You'll design and ship systems end to end, from the database to production. Expect payments, integrations with external systems, and multi-tenant architecture that has to stay correct and reliable at scale. OUR STACK • TypeScript, Node.js • Next.js 16, React 19 • PostgreSQL + Prisma • React Native + Expo • Integrations with POS systems, payment providers, banks and fiscal services • AI-assisted development is part of how we work every day WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 4+ years building and running backend systems in production • Strong TypeScript and Node.js • Deep PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, transactions, concurrency, migrations on a live database • Experience integrating third-party APIs: webhooks, retries, idempotency • Understanding of multi-tenant architecture and data isolation • A "money must be correct" mindset • Comfortable owning a feature end to end, including the frontend when n • Product thinking and clear communication NICE TO HAVE • Experience with POS, restaurant or retail tech • Payments or fintech experience • Offline-first apps and data sync • React Native / Expo • Armenian, English and/or Russian HOW TO APPLY Apply here, or send your CV to hr@glana.am.
