Role Description FreightExchange is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable cloud-based software applications incorporating AI-driven features. The role involves: Building backend services using Java (Spring Boot)Developing RESTful APIs and microservicesIntegrating machine learning and AI models into production systemsImplementing AI-powered automation and decision-support toolsDeploying secure cloud-native applications on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3) About You Applicants must: Have 4+ years in a technical role in a Transport or Logistics company in AustraliaHold a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Computer Science or Software Engineering)4+ years experience in backend software developmentExperience applying AI/ML frameworks, Java, Python, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and secure authentication frameworks (OAuth2/OIDC)The Role This is a full time permanent position based in Sydney, NSW Salary $105k AUD per annum plus superannuation.
