About The Role
This is an opportunity to join a product-focused engineering team that plays a critical role in shaping how our customers access and experience their workplace.
The team designs, builds, and evolves the digital capabilities that enable customers to seamlessly provision, manage, and use their physical and mobile credentials across their workplace and broader ecosystem.
We have two opportunities available within this team: one suited to an intermediate developer ready to deepen their technical capability, and one senior role for someone who can bring strong technical ownership, influence engineering direction, and support others to deliver high-quality outcomes.
As a Software Engineer in this team, you’ll work on systems that are foundational to identity, access, and trust.
Your work will directly impact customer onboarding, day-to-day usability, and overall confidence in our solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and platform teams to deliver reliable, secure, and intuitive experiences that balance technical excellence with a strong understanding of customer needs.
These roles offer the chance to work on meaningful customer-facing problems at scale, contribute to modern software engineering practices, and help shape solutions that sit at the intersection of digital and physical experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software components and the integration of cloud servicesBreak down, refine, and estimate work within an agile product environmentEnsure quality and secure coding through best practices, testing, and peer reviewsOptimise system performance, reliability, and scalabilityCollaborate with the squad and wider teams in an agile environmentStay up to date with emerging technologies and development trends to continuously improve team capabilityFor the senior role, provide technical guidance, support decision-making, and help mentor others within the team
You’ll bring
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experienceCommercial software development experience, ideally 3+ years for intermediate applicants and stronger depth of experience for senior applicantsProficiency in C#Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similarExperience in RESTful API developmentExperience with CI/CD using Azure Pipelines or GitHub WorkflowsExperience working in agile, product-focused teamsFor the senior role, the ability to influence technical outcomes, guide engineering practices, and support others through coaching or mentoringExperience with C++ and/or mobile development is desirableExperience with access control systems, including traditional card-based and emerging digital/mobile credential technologies and encoding would be advantageous
