The Role
Be a subject matter expert in underlying technologies, providing technical support to developers Prioritize engineering decisions and contribute to modernizing DevOps practices through automation and AI-assisted engineering Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform) Develop and maintain containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability using tools like DataDog, and implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
What You'll Need
Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud technologies, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred), Ansible, Terraform, and YAML-based pipelines Proficiency in scripting (Shell/PowerShell) and Python, along with experience in Agile/Scrum practices Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS), with exposure to AI/ML-powered tooling in software engineering or DevOps workflows Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in financial services environments being advantageous Willingness to work in a hybrid model in London, UK
