Cloud Database Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Set up and operate PostgreSQL database services on Kubernetes to ensure reliable data availability. Develop and implement automated processes for rolling out and managing database solutions using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Collaborate closely with the Managed Kubernetes team to integrate database solutions optimally into the Kubernetes infrastructure. Plan and implement updates, security patches, and new product versions for continuous improvement and security. Contribute to the expansion and optimization of additional database services on cloud platforms. What You'll Need Completed IT education or degree (e.g., IT specialist for system integration, computer science, cloud computing). Profound knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes. Initial experience with PostgreSQL HA solutions. Passion and enthusiasm for Linux and OpenStack. Excellent German and English language skills.
