Description
SAP Integration Developer | CPI & BTP
Permanent | Melbourne | Hybrid
Up to $155,000 + super
Australian Citizens only
We're partnering with a large Australian organisation looking for an experienced SAP Integration Developer to join its technology team during a significant period of transformation.
This is a hands-on role working across a complex enterprise SAP landscape, with a strong focus on SAP CPI / Integration Suite, enterprise integration and SAP BTP.
The sweet spot is someone with genuine SAP integration depth, strong CPI capability and enough BTP experience to work confidently in a modern SAP environment.
The role
You'll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting integrations across SAP and a broad range of enterprise platforms.
You'll be involved in:
Designing, developing and supporting SAP CPI / Integration Suite iFlows
Integrating SAP S/4HANA, ECC and other SAP platforms with enterprise applications and external systems
Building integrations using REST, OData, APIs and event-driven patterns
Developing synchronous and asynchronous integration solutions
Managing data transformation, error handling, monitoring and integration security
Supporting integration artefacts through deployment and into BAU
Working across SAP BTP services and the broader BTP landscape
Supporting API management and integration architecture
Contributing to integration patterns, development standards and technical best practice
Working closely with architecture, application and delivery teams across major transformation initiatives
About you
The priority here is strong SAP integration capability.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Strong commercial experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
Strong experience integrating SAP within complex enterprise environments
Experience across SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC
Solid knowledge of APIs, REST/OData, messaging and integration patterns
Experience with integration security, including OAuth and certificate-based authentication
Good exposure to SAP BTP and its broader services
Experience taking integrations through design, development, deployment, monitoring and BAU support
Experience working within large transformation or enterprise environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams
Exposure to CAP, Event Mesh, Fiori/UI5, HANA Cloud, CI/CD, Node.js or Java would be highly regarded, but the priority is finding someone with genuine depth across SAP integration rather than someone who ticks every box.
The opportunity
This is a substantial SAP integration role with plenty of meaningful work ahead.
You'll have the opportunity to work across modern SAP technologies while taking genuine ownership of the integrations you design and build.
Up to $155,000 + super | Permanent | Melbourne hybrid
Please note: applicants must be Australian Citizens.
