About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of design, analytical, and development skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments such as online marketing and operations. This senior role involves enhancing existing applications and developing new solutions to support our expanding business operations. The candidate will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience.Proven expertise in PHP, CodeIgniter, and Java.Strong knowledge of modern front-end JavaScript libraries, particularly jQuery.Extensive experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.Proficiency in working with SQL and PLSQL databases.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred but not mandatory qualifications include experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks, Tomcat and Apache webservers, version control systems like Git, continuous integration tools, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and cloud technologies like AWS. Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to analyze detailed requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design, develop, and unit test assigned application components and modules, ensuring code quality and performance.Support the deployment of applications into production, including troubleshooting and resolving post-deployment issues.Work closely with team members to implement new features, including user interface enhancements and business logic functionalities.Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain documentation related to application design, development processes, and deployment procedures.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development activities.
